Terry’s profile and history
Based in Brighton, UK, I create playful illustration, animation, and interactive video games.
Mentored by Esper-Appleyard Fox (head of Accentuate UK) and supported by the DYCP fund, I refined my design process to better support autistic and neurodiverse users, especially in how I use colour, layout, and typography.
I lead workshops for neurodiverse creatives, supporting them in developing industry-ready skills in storytelling and visual design.
I am also a co-founder, designer, and committee member at Level 3 Productions, a studio dedicated to helping underrepresented voices secure funding and access game development training.
What do you deliver?
Infographics, merchandise, game assets, frame-by-frame animation, environmental design, digital illustrations, character design, and posters for narrative-driven projects.
I draw and create : animals - landscapes/environments - human characters - Fantasy creatures - objects
What do you and partners create?
My partnerships with Circa69 and BRiGHTBLACK allow me to create immersive video games, playable art, and interactive exhibition pieces.
What kind of work do you accept?
I work with startups, charities, and arts groups to shape visual identities and create immersive, narrative-rich campaigns.
I regularly collaborate with other autistic and learning-disabled artists to provide hands-on opportunities for emerging talent. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to inclusive creative projects, ensuring every voice has the tools to thrive.
What are the steps for working together?
Discovery – Define your goals, values, and audience.
Planning – Set timelines for sketches, research, and delivery.
Production – Create with regular, open feedback.
Why storytelling and gaming?
Unlike passive media, interactive storytelling, products and games keep audiences engaged for longer, especially neurodivergent users. Autistic users, for example, often focus on Twitch streams for hours. Interactive media invites deeper connection, accessibility, and lasting impact.
